This app is being built to measure and keep a track of no of hours an individual spends on various community service activities like: Tree Plantation, Cleaning Drives, Teaching Children at a School, Feeding the poor, Protection and Prevention of Cruelty against Animals., Helping someone reach a Hospital during an Accident Etc. With this app citizens who have an inclination for social work will get a platform to tract their efforts, get recognized and maintain a history of voluntary community service efforts towards betterment of the society.
Product Features
The community services Credit app which will count the no of hours spent on various community services activities by the citizens of India like Planting a Tree Participation in Cleaning Drive initiated by Govt, Govt Bodies, Residential and Cooperative Societies NGOs, humanitarian organizations, or Local politicians like: Blood donations camps, animal protection, Feeding the poor drive, teaching poor children at a school etc. A detailed list will be prepared where any human hours spend working on the field can be considered as Community Service. It will not include any hours spent playing on a sports field, working out in a gym or any monetary donation. Citizens must go out and spend hours physically towards community.
Login and Authentication
It is proposed to create an APP, where users can register with their Aadhar card, email and phone nos or their login details from other social media sites, govt departments websites can be linked to authenticate.
Adding and Approving Hours
1. These community service hours spent by a person will have to be added to CommunityServiceCreditApp on this own account.
2. The hours and activities engaged is to be supported by Pictures and Videos as a proof.
3. The hours entered by the person need to be endorsed by at least three more CommunityServiceCreditApp users.
4. The claimed hours will have to be approved by designated officers in the Govt who is also registered in the app as an Approver. Once approved his hours will be shown as a badge on his app profile page which he can use in his resume or other places.
Benefits to Citizens and Government
• It will give objectivity and measurability to Citizens who spend countless hours in community service without counted and recognized.
• It will motivate citizens towards community and social service.
• It may reduce burden from the civic bodies
• It may improve health and increase social harmony within the residents and people.
• It can be showcased yet another Government initiative in bringing the citizens together for the betterment of the Country.
• It will give a platform for the government to know formally and recognize citizens and reward such citizens who are committed to social work and community.
Process and Mode of Operation
• Heads of States can mention about the total no of community service hours in their monthly/quarterly/six monthly or yearly address to the state/nation and recognize top three or five persons who have spent maximum no of hours during a month or so.
• Awards can be given to up to three to five persons who spend maximum number of hours on Annual basis.
• Such persons who get an annual award can be treated just like “Freedom Fighters” or other recognized citizens by the state.
• Recognized social workers and be given slight preferential treatment on govt departments or other benefits to recognize their contributions towards community and society.
• This app can be linked to govt websites and apps to see who spends maximum no of hours in each month and total no of community service hours spent by the citizens of India at a given point of time.
